About the event
Dave Prieto is a professional jazz guitarist currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Originally from San Francisco, CA, Prieto has established himself as a top performer in the jazz industry. He has played with artists such as Leon Williams, Larry Hancock, Akira Tana, James Levi, Charles Thomas, and many more. With over five decades in the industry, Prieto has released four studio albums featuring notable tracks such as Jeanne’s Waltz and No Love of My Own. He currently teaches and performs throughout North Carolina.
John Simonetti, a multi-instrumentalist, has returned to his native North Carolina after six years of freelancing in New York City. He performs regularly with the North Carolina Theatre, Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy, various touring Broadway shows, the Gregg Gelb Swing Band, Children of the Horn, Rozlyn Sorrell, the German Oompah Trio, and many other acclaimed musical groups.
