Taxicab Preacher returns to The Bar(n) bringing their unmistakable blend of Americana soul, Southern rock grit, and heartfelt storytelling. Hailing from Chapel Hill, this four-piece powerhouse delivers music that feels both deeply rooted and refreshingly alive — rich harmonies, smoldering vocals, and the kind of emotional honesty that turns a night of live music into something memorable.

Fronted by Texas-born vocalist Hailey “Doc” Brighton, whose voice carries equal parts fire and finesse, the band is rounded out by Chris Zagar (guitar/vocals), Don Miller (drums/vocals), and Patrick “PV” Vernon (bass/vocals). Old friendships, shared musical instincts, and a collaborative songwriting spirit give their performances an easy chemistry audiences immediately feel. Their debut EP Solid Ground captures that authenticity, but it’s on stage where the songs truly breathe.
